

Do you suffer from food allergies or have intolerances to certain foods? Trying to figure out how to substitute ingredients can be “tricky” and even “mind-boggling” to some. Following recipe after recipe, scouring the internet for something, anything with flavor, but nothing seems to taste the same or come even close to what you know it could taste like. Well I used to be that person and decided to do something about it. My name is Paul and I am an avid lover of all things food and when my wife discovered she was Gluten Intolerant, along with other food allergies, we had to rethink our entire way of living and eating to accommodate her new diet. If you have any allergies or intolerances then you know that if any of these issue causing ingredients get into your food that it can be very harmful to your health. You are also probably aware that you have become a detective of sorts reading the labels of every food product you buy to see if it contains any allergens you must avoid. We have done all this worrying and leg work as well and after writing down everything I knew about food, alternate ingredients and cooking methods I decided to write a cookbook. My book, “Loving Food Again – Delicious recipes for food allergy and intolerance sufferers”, takes the guessing about food out of the equation. So if you have Celiac Disease or are Gluten Intolerant, Lactose Intolerant or have allergies to Soy, Egg or Nuts then my book has something for you.
But what if you don’t have allergies or intolerances to food? Is this book for you?...the answer is YES! When I wrote these recipes they were all tested on friends and family who have no food issue, my goal was to make these recipes so delicious that no one would be able to tell the difference…and no one ever can.
My method of cooking uses all fresh ingredients. I have put together recipes for the novice and at home expert alike. I have supplied you, the chef, with descriptions on alternate ingredients, spices as well as some basic survival tips for you to follow for when you are home, eating out, traveling..etc…Here is a sample of what you can expect on each recipe page:
I have also included a quick reference guide page (the Recipe to Allergy Index) so you can easily look at a recipe and know right away if it is free of a particular issue causing ingredient you need to steer clear of and if it can be made without it.
